Can you tell winter is starting to bore me?

Someone was over due for a bath…and it wasn’t me.

This little lady (note the long developing ovipositor) was removed from some split wood. I think it is an ichneumonid (parasitoid wasp) pupa, probably Rhyssa.

…would make for a very happy Kelley. But in the meantime, this pretty picture I took of one last year will have to do.

The little mini-beast is a hoarder. Josh noticed him scratching at the recliner. So, he reclined the chair only to find this:

Thats right…Christmas candies (LOTS), candles and other assorted goods.

No wonder he likes that chair so much…
