…they make me have to work in some of the worst conditions. I mean look at these places, who would want to go there?!?

Ok, it ain’t all that bad

I haven’t forgotten about you, just been busy with work. I must say though, I really enjoy the aspect of my job where I get to spend every day in the woods. I see a lot of things that I would never come across otherwise.

For instance, during the last couple weeks I managed to see both a porcupine (who gave the camera a really funny look)…

…and the animal that eats porcupines, the fisher. Fisher’s are a pretty rare thing to see in the woods, at least they were historically because they were hunted for their fur. I think they are on the rise again and even moving into suburbia (feasting on garbage and even small pets). This particular fella got hit by the car right before we came along, coincidently in a local town (not the woods).

Too bad it got thumped because it was really pretty.
