This week in central NY has been gorgeous!

I saw a bald eagle…

And FLYING SQUIRRELS! They like to nest in the top of our insect traps…

They are really cute and only 6in long or so…but man, when they are flying right at your head its a little frightening ;)

    What gorgeous pictures, the flying squirrel is adorable. Someone told me we have them near our home in NWMO by the Platte River, but I’ve not seen them yet.

    I was surfing the web, looking for the type of bug I keep finding in my apartment and look what I come across. The coolest bug website ever! Flying squirrels and those stupid bug traps…oh, the memories :-) Hope you guys are having fun up there!
