Wow is that Delaware Beach life? Curious? What is your connection with DE? I am a friend of that crazy Jay Packer.

Sorry for the intrusion. I found your email address online and I was hoping I could solicit your help in identifying a particular insect. I have already tried using terminix and orkin with no luck, I greatly appreciate your time.

The insect in question is located at the following URL.

    http://www.wegrzyn.com/insect/

The insect in question is all over my house. Both inside and outside. It seems to like shade. It is very small. The pictures of the insect were taken against exterior lap siding. I live in a rural area in northeastern Massachusetts. My property abuts wetlands. The only other thing I can say is they may be causing damage to wood structure. If I look close at various areas of wood around the house I find tiny holes. I would say the holes are round and slightly larger than the insect it self. I did notice that after painting wood that was previously exposed they numbers are greatly reduced in that particular area. One last thing that may be worth mentioning is that we do have some bats that are roosting in the soffits of our house. I was wondering if these insects could be related in some way.

    Again, thanks for your time.

    Best Regards,

    Joshua Wegrzyn

    Kelley,

Your website is fantastic! I am interested in using your gypsy moth picture on my website (North Carolina Dept. of Ag Gypsy Moth Program). May I?

    Thanks,
    Matt

Hi Kels! I like your dickcissel pic! Might I use it (or draw a rendition of it) for future Birds of Sioux County checklists?

    Hi Kelly,
Love your site. Really nice job. I am interested in using one of your photos in an article on winter moth for Massachusetts Butterflies publication. Your shots are much nicer than mine. It would run in black and white.
Email me as I am on the road a lot these days. Keep up the great website. Fun to see what you are up to these days.

I’m interested in using your Pikes Peak photo with my Hike of the Week column.
My request is time-sensitive. I would need to get your permission and first and last name within 24 hours. I would send you a link to the article when it publishes and a hard copy if you’d like.
    Thanks very much,
    Bette Erickson
