Probably not coming up to your bed (since they dont have legs, but falling down from the ceiling/light/wall. Perhaps there is something dead around or a lot of moisture somewhere...flies lay eggs in those sorts of places. Then, they begin to wander and find a place to go into pupation. After I came back from my 2month holidays, I found about 5 tiny worm-like larvae (?) in my bed and five more in the drawer underneath. They were up to ... about 6mm long and not more than 2 mm in width. They are uniformly coloured (light brown-ish) and do not seem to travel long distances only wriggling around. Since then I have cleaned and washed everything near my bed twice, the second time using bug spray underneath my bed. Still, I have found 1 more teenie tiny larva in my bed after each cleaning session. I do not see any holes in my bed linen but they do not seem to come from food either. And they do not seem to bite...Another strange things is that I have not actually found a "grown" bug. Except for one fly which probably flew in from the outside anyways. I am sorry that I do not have a photo but maybe you would be able to make an educated guess? I am wondering if I should get an exterminator or if there are cheaper ways to get rid of all eggs. I hope I am not stepping on any toes, I know there are a lot of entomologists annoyed with questions regarding pest control.. ;) Julia p.s. i loved the beautiful photographs on your site! Dear Kelly
